Overview

Aluminum and magnesium castings combine light weight, strength, and complex shapes in a single part.

CMT sources aluminum high pressure die castings, gravity and low pressure permanent mold castings, sand castings, and investment castings, plus magnesium die castings, from vetted ISO and IATF certified foundries in our global network.

Typical parts include engine and transmission covers, housings, valve bodies, intake manifolds, pistons, battery trays, brackets, and magnesium armrest and seat structures for lawn and garden, power sports, automotive, and material handling equipment. Our engineers review every design for manufacturability before tooling is cut. Our quality laboratories in China and Cincinnati handle metrology and metallurgical testing, and our Cincinnati warehouses keep finished parts stocked for just-in-time delivery. From presses up to 2500 tons through T6 heat treatment, machining, impregnation, and finishing, you have one accountable partner from design to delivery.
